How to make your first video
This is the simplest way to get started with your b2b video marketing strategy.
Hey!
Welcome to the first edition of Buttloads of Dough with Video, the newsletter that helps you build a video strategy to turn viewers into leads. You wouldn’t say no to more leads, would you?
I started this newsletter (and my company, A2 Media), to simplify video strategy. I’ve met so many b2b marketers who know they should be creating video content, but don’t know where to start.
If that’s you, no stress. You’re not alone. You’re actually in the majority.
I’m here to tell you that you don’t need a production company, a studio, or a 12-month content calendar to see the benefits of video.
Here’s a foolproof way to get started with video:
Talk to your sales team.
Pull out the top 5 questions they get from customers.
Make short, simple videos answering those questions.
Short and simple is key. You don’t need a fancy setup, all you need is a phone or a webcam to record someone answering the questions.
You’ll show your customers that you understand their questions, and you’ll start to learn what else they want to know about your business.
The beauty of this approach is you also don’t have to worry about distribution. These videos can live on your site’s FAQ page. You don’t have to post them anywhere else, but you can post them just about anywhere. They’ll never be out of place.
Your first video doesn’t have to make waves. In fact, it probably shouldn’t. But these simple FAQ-style videos are a great starting point. You’ll be on your way to video magic in no time.
Thanks again for subscribing, I’m excited to get this newsletter off the ground. More importantly, I’m excited to help YOU start pulling more leads through video.
